If Bezos waited a little under 10 years he would have paid nothing, just like everyone else who will be free to make as much James Bond as they like when the copyright expires on 1 January 2035, life plus 70 years and all that. He's only got time to make 2 or 3 movies at most but he has more than enough money to burn.
