Well... if there were eleven actors on stage and ten
characters were killed in the play, would that not mean
the survivor done it? ;-)

 
... but THE ONLY TIME we saw this eleventh character was
at the final Bow .... and he was 'dressed down' (i.e.
singlet and pants) whereas the other Ten actors were still
in their costumes!!

Maybe this actor was the voice on the record near the start?
That would explain why he didn’t need to get dressed up.
