Here is my list of the top 10 worst episode series by series of Nu-Who 20 years on.
(The list might change as time passes.)
Series 1) Boom Town
Series 2) Fear Her (The Olympic torch relay and cauldron lighting was excruciating and featured cometary by a self-admitted child abuser. Even with that said the cauldron lighting is still more memorable that the actual London 2012 cauldron lighting by a bunch of complete nobodies.)
Series 3) 42 (Terrible writing throughout by Chris Chibnall)
Series 4) Midnight
Specials) Planet of the Dead
Series 5) Amy's Choice (Set's up the Dream Lord who subsequently amounts to nothing)
Series 6) Closing Time
Series 7) The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe
Specials) The Time of the Doctor
Series 8) Kill The Moon
Series 9) Face the Raven
Series 10) The Pilot
And that's where Doctor Who ends.
