Jon Pertwee did do quiet a few comedies among many other roles. He was in some of the Carry On comedy movies, the kids' comedy-drama Worzel Gummidge, a one-episode role in The Goodies, etc. But it's probably not accurate to say "mainly a comedy actor".
"The Goodies" ..... Now theres a series I haven't seen in yonks!!
