Back then there was editorial oversight which stopped the far left from using the show to sexually groom children. Mary Whitehouse knew the BBC was a den of sick, disgusting, perverts since the 1950s where her underage daughter started to talk to her using sexually explicit language which the said she learned from watching television.
Even back in 2005 there was more editorial oversight than there is now. Now Davies is allowed to spread his disgusting sexual agenda directed at children unimpeded by an organisation which venerates self admitted a child molester and his sculptures. No wonder parents are not letting their kids watch this show any more and the ratings are the lowest in history.
