 Nope. It starts with Ludwig being contacted by his sister-in-law asking him to come for a visit because they haven't seen Ludwig in a while, but it's a ruse to get him to come help her investigate what has happened to her husband. Even by the end of the season we don't know what happened to the detective, other than he seems to have gone into hiding without telling his family. A second season is being made.

Looks like our local TV Station has gone back to the start ....

 Yep, he was the first one. He got killed off, but rather stupidly did later return as a ghost. :-\

That's right. I want to type that the two of them were sitting on a bench seat somewhere .... but it would have made more logic to have had them at the Beach Bar.
