He did, but he didn't seem to like "Gridlock"... I think he saw
some anti-Christian messaging within the episode. Which is funny
as at the time some people also took pro-Christian messaging

Gridlock was trying to be pro-Christian but RTD isn’t a Christian so
the messaging ended up being awkward, clumsy and patronising - a
non-Christian’s misleading idea of what Christians believe.

OTOH it’s great that RTD did once try to write outside his
comfort zone, even if the result didn’t quite work!
