So... they end up being 'followers'. They are gullible and are easily convinced to join various splinter groups that are vying for power.

 Another example is the Tom Swift TV series.
The actual Tom Swift character was modest, brilliant, conservative, and married with a young son that later followed in his footsteps to also become an inventor.
In the movie, he was portrayed as a gay billionaire playboy.  The complete opposite of the actual character.

Why is it that these retards think that the audience which is 97% heterosexual is interested in characters that they have turned gay?
They're only one reason that these woke degenerates are doing this and that is in order to sexually groom children. There's no way that they can justify any of what they are doing.

 And I see the same degradation in the new Star Trek episodes.
