I will be tomorrow, does that count?

If I take my laptop with me to Belfast can I post legitimate
comments then, or do I have to actually be on the mainland
before I can have an opinion?

You have to be British.
Really? In that case I'll pass... thanks.
Great Britain is one island, Ireland is another. I come from the
other!

Well, Great Britain is one and a bit (major'ish) Islands, Ireland is what's left of that second Island!! ;-P
No. Great Britain is one landmass of three nations (England, Scotland and
Wales). The United Kingdom is Great Britain plus Northern Ireland and
several hundred small islands. Several more small islands (and the Gibraltar peninsula) are Crown
Dependencies of the United Kingdom but not legally part of it.
Ireland is one landmass of 2 nations (the Republic of Ireland and Northern
Ireland), one of which is part of the United Kingdom.
There is a political mechanism permanently in place which would allow
Northern Ireland to transfer from the United Kingdom and join the Republic
of Ireland if a majority of its people elect to do so.
