I can't get my head around people who continually watch a TV
show they claim not to like. It just doesn't make any sense.

 Nostalgia would be luxriating in the past highlights of Doctor Who,
watching old stories and listening to those BF audios that do try
and capture that feel.
 Subjecting yourself to something you obviously hate and then
consistently be negative about it, and keep harping on about
needing to retcon something that happened years ago is the very
opposite of nostalgia. It does not engender the warm fuzzy
feelings that one associates with nostalgia.
