have never watched Doctor Who at any stage whatsoever!
That's not true. Stop making crap up. At least 90% of the UK population has seen Doctor Who at some point. If it hadn't ended in 2017 it would have been closer to 95% same as the number of people who listen to BBC Local Radio. Of course not all of them tune in at the same time or even on the same day.
I don't know what the population of the UK has been between 1963
and now but, at a guess, over half of them have not tuned in to
watch Doctor Who on a Saturday evening at the same time. So it
was never a TV show for the majority anyway!
