 I am making the point that whenever an episode of Doctor Who has
been broadcast on BBC1 over half of the population of the UK
(i.e. a "majority") did not sit down and watch it. IF you can
prove otherwise, feel free to do so... after all, you are the
king of maths and statistics aren't you?
 But please, do not use your YouTube channel stats to try and
prove (to the five people here that read your posts) how the
"majority" of people in the UK watched Doctor Who based on data
you have extrapolated from it...

I don't know what the population of the UK has been between
1963 and now but, at a guess, over half of them have not
tuned in to watch Doctor Who on a Saturday evening at the
same time. So it was never a TV show for the majority anyway!
