This allows RTD to film Ncuti's departure before casting his
successor. I'm currently hoping this is all a gimmick. Because
I'm not sure I can cope with Billie as the Doctor - I'm still
disappointed that they wasted Archie Panjabi as the Rani. She
was top of my list for the next female Doctor.
Notable, it didn't say Billie Piper as The Doctor in the
credits, so there is a small glimmer of hope that Rose Tyler
isn't the 16th Doctor. However, Ncuti's Doctor did regenerate in
to a female with her likeness. So... ???
Don't be surprised *if* they bring David Tennant back yet again. They ran out of sensible ideas at least two 'Doctors' ago.
