Nothing new there, there's plenty of ways to access streaming
platforms for free... if that's the way you wanted to go about
it. Good internet is generally required though.
One of the attractions was that you just plugged it into the T.V.'s HDMI socket and away you go, apparently just pulling the signal out of the Air.
"Back from Silicon Valley, this engineer explains us how to
access all the paid channels and platforms for FREE"
The usual method of choice is a jail-broken Amazon 4K Firestick
then some software easily found on the internet... the only cost
would be the Firestick.
So I've just paid out about AU$150 for a gizmo that plugs
into a HDMI socket to access heaps of channels .. INCLUDING
DISNEY+!!
You've been robbed.
As I've thought about it more, I'm thinking I might be thankful that my Bank put a 'HOLD' on the money transfer.
I mean, I've got about 50 Ducos and Films on my PVR and over a hundred DVDs .... as well as about 175 Eps of 'Doctor Who' on the PVR as well.
Maybe I should get OUTSIDE more!! ;-)
