I'd rather have no Doctor Who than bad Doctor Who.
The simplest alternative is to avoid watching a television
program that has deteriorated in quality to the stage where
it is deemed "bad" by parts of its fandom.
I agree, those people who think it's bad, should stop
watching it. I, for one, will continue watching, and mostly
enjoying, it, assuming these grumps haven't gotten it
canceled.
A few years ago, I might have been upset or opinionated about
this or had some kind of a reaction. Now, it just makes me
scratch my head and go on with my day only to forget it in
about 20 minutes.
Plenty of us have been scratching our heads over it of late! ;-)

I wouldn't get upset over a television show though, but there's
nothing wrong with being opinionated about it - even if that
can't actually change anything. Wanting one of your favourite TV
shows to be better than it is is reasonably normal... In the
case of "Doctor Who", which has been around since the 1960's,
it's probably just a case of some fans outgrowing the show, in
which case they are better off just not watching it.
