I think 'they' tried a Young Indiana film .... and that
wrecked the franchise.
No, Disney/Lucasfilm made a fifth Indiana Jones film in 2023
with Harrison Ford as an old Indiana Jones, and a de-aged (CGI)
Harrison Ford as a younger version of himself.
He was only "de-aged" for a few flashback scenes. For the vast majority of the movie he played his normal age.
