 Yes, it was .... I mean, from what I've read here recently, The Doctor *IS* a man (again) who travels through Time and Space. "little nods"! ;-P

I didn't bother watching it, but Susan was in the latest season, so that would be another "nod" to the past of the show ... although not a "classic monster" or baddie (so far!).
