The Democrats have a history of picking candidates that are not competitive with the Republicans. Bill Clinton was a much stronger leader and personality than Bush I who was lackluster at best, he just lucked out the first time against Dukakis, a very weak candidate who lacked even Bush's low charisma. The Democrats got smart in 1992 and love him or hate him, Clinton was a powerhouse that Bush I just didn't stand a chance against. And of course we all know the presidency was stolen from Al Gore in 2001. Next up, it'll definitely be Vance, and if the Democrats expect to at least compete they need to find someone young and tough with his wits about him because Vance is already looking strong and if these next four years go well, he's going to be a tough man to beat. That's my armchair quarterback prediction of the week. 😏
