      it is a shame, agreed... What I've *tried* to do for years now(at
times more successfully than other times, granted) is to have some sense
of perspective, proportion and context in regard to Usenet... to realize
that all of the arguing and fighting and pettiness and nastiness etc,
while not at all desirable or pleasant, certainly, really is just not
very important, in the scheme of things, it's just *words* from
strangers... all one can do is their part to make a positive
contribution to the group, and be friendly and amiable towards others,
and let the chips fall where they may from their..
