It does sound a bit like Bukowski.

There's certainly Buk in there, and Iggy Pop and others.

 It actually reminded me most of a
Bukowski wannabe who used to post here, who shall go nameless.

Who in 1982 was nowhere to be found.

Both styles employed a sort of crude swagger in the tone and content
which I also used in many of my poems.
