It came out much better than MD and I had expected or even hoped. It's
interesting how it divides into two sections. The first half, mainly
from the '60s, which has her singing a variety of her own hits and
standards, is all short fan videos or TV appearances. That half, mostly
my selections, showcases her voice, which is quite amazing - she reminds
me of Kate Bush, though in a slightly lower register.
And then at "Broken English," it changes into a live concert set of
longer and edgier songs. That second half, mostly your selections,
showcases her as a songwriter and entertainer. It has less songs, of
course (because they're longer) but I think we hit all the peaks of that
part of her career.
In total it's a good look at how our strengths and interests complement
each other. I compared it to the official YT playlist of her official
videos (which is where I found the Nick Cave collaborations), and I
think ours gives a better, broader view of her musical contributions.

Here's an interesting bit of trivia I just ran into. I'm watching a
video of how  and why Graham Nash left the Hollies, and Nash is talking
about their hig Cary-Ann, which he says was inspired by Marianne
Faithfull. I found that a coincidence worth mentioning.
