This is the 4th volume of the series. I hoped it was the
end because I am getting on 87 yoa but we are left hanging in
several interlocking stories  of the individual characters on
both sides of the struggle against Thomas Penn, Emperor of the
League and of Pennsland. He is an elected Emperor and murdered
his sister to take her inheritance. His evil magic is so tough
that other wizards cannot touch him. His ally is the ghost of
the Necromancer, Oliver Cromwell, whose new model army was wooden
men activated by demons. Now he has built them as giants with the
same power source. And you would  never believe what Queen Sarah of Cahokia rides to battle.
Better start reading the series now as it only gets more
complicated so far we have these
Witchy Eye (2017) Really liked this one
Witchy Winter (2018) All the rest are moving the story
Witchy Kingdom (2019) forward
Serpent Daughter (2020) see above.
The Covid restrictions let me miss this last one.
until now.
I am surprised that the next one is not out but not
greatly as this is long and complicated story of
a North America rotten with magic.
