I had never heard that term before this thread.

Most mammals have "zoomies", including humans, mainly when they're young and full of excess energy. You often see things like baby elephants or rhinos running around and bouncing on their feet.
It is relative though. Sloth zoomies aren't probably much more than a slow amble. ;-)
