I was in Montana fishing with five other guys on the Missouri River for the last week.  I left Helena, Montana this morning at 34 F.  I arrived back in Houston at 93 F.  I want to go back.
My wife and daughter were fine.  I live way outside Houston in what used to be the sticks.

All good to know. A friend of mind lived in Friendswood for 35+ years before moving to Colorado just a couple years ago. For the most part, he does not miss the weather he left behind, although getting adjusted to the colder temps in Colorado took a while.
