Oliver Jole appears to have had a long involvement with Aral and
Cordelia. I remember none of it. Was he on-screen in any of the
early books?

I had no idea such a thing existed.
I found my 2008 edition for a good price at a used book store a long time ago - I think maybe Cryoburn had just come out, or was just about to.
Anyhow, it's almost 700 pages long, and is broken into 5 sections ("Parts") and 3 appendices. The sections are made of various essays, interviews, and articles, with the concordance taking up just under 300 pages of Part 5 "The Vorkosiverse Itself". Part 5 is by far the largest of the 5 parts. I'm realizing now that I haven't read many of the articles & whatnot; so now this is on the short stack to be read soe time this year.
I'll have to admit that sounds kind of cool. And if later publications only
make 300 pages obsolete, it might be worth picking up.
