Antoher from last fall.
Captain Liz Laika was a rising star in fleet, but is now a virtual
outcast due to a family scandal. She is stuck in the worst post in the
Fleet, with a ramshackle ship and an oddball crew. To make things
worse, a Cerulean passenger is found murdered, and Liz is framed for
the deed. To top it off, the investigating officers are her ex-fiancee
and his new girlfriend.
Someone is trying to see that she goes down for the crime. Can her crew
come to her rescue so they can clear her name and uncover the real
killer?
Okay, this is about as lightweight as it gets, but I'm a sucker for
space operas with misfit crews, and mysteries. I liked it.
