From my 1955-56 childhood encounter with SF, courtesy of my fifth-grade teacher, a story has come down in my memory titled "Nothing Ever Happens On the Moon." However it wasn't the 1949 story of that title by Heinlein. The story I recall was just about a solitary man on duty at a lunar outpost. He experiences a frightening series of buffetings of his quarters by an unknown force that have a sudden onset but then simply fade away.
