Yep. Not clear what would have happened if he kinda did nothing at all, but maybe I'm forgetting something.

 Does "No living man may hinder me" count for this? Mebbe not.
 
That was indeed the first, second, and third example that came to mind, but I don't know if they were trying to outfox the prophecy or just merely stup...um...underinformed about it.
