Here I am again with one non-political screed of notes,
"The Shambling Guide to New York City" by Mur Lafferty.

I generally enjoy Lafferty's work, but I've only read her SF. I'm not a
big reader of urban fantasy, but sometimes will especially for humorous
works. For instance, I have read the Dan Shamble, Zombie PI series by
Kevin J. Anderson. I've thought about this one.
This is the first of a series.
If I am not clear this is a very amusing book and I hope
Mur has more in store.
There is one sequel, from about 10 years ago, so I doubt any more are
coming. If you enjoy her writing, you might consider the Chaos Terminal
books. Those are, as I mentioned, SF.
It would make a great manga or anime. I got my copy at the SFPL
Main but it is $15.00 US or $17.00 Canadian.
They have the ebook at the library, so I'd get that. Much of my reading
comes that way these days.
