As usual(!), thanks for these. I find them very interesting and helpful.
I don't have much to add to your reviews except for the following three items:
1) I just read Fair Trade this past October, and I really enjoyed it (including the french fries!). It finishes up in a mildly incomplete spot, which I fully expect “Trade Lanes” to address. All good stuff, as you’d expect Liaden stuff to be. I have "Salvage Right" on the short stack, and expect to read that one Real Soon Now.
2) I have yet to pick up one of the Liaden short story collections, but I definitely plan to.
3) Largely based on what you've mentioned here, I obtained and read Rachel Aaron's "Nice Dragons Finish Last" about a month ago, and I enjoyed it enough to seek out the next one. It's promising.
