No, what they are arguing is that the short-term warming doesn't match up
with that predicted by one of the more popular long-term models. Which is
pretty much happens when you compare a short piece of noisy data with another
short piece of noisy data.... you get noise.
Notice she doesn't mention anything about error bounds on either measurements
or the model output. Engineers live by error bounds.
So, this isn't really news. Nor is it news that, given large error bounds,
some people want to play it safe and other do not.
