For reasons that don't bear too close of scrutiny, the song Stony End popped into my mind when I read this. It won't go away. And not the Nyro version, the Streisand version. Arrrrgggghhhh!

It was a very happy day when I discovered that I could intentionally force out such nasty earworms with one of a few well-chosen tunes I keep in reserve. Maybe you can think of a few that could work for you to displace your own current affliction.[1]
