Which 1996 Clarke Award Finalists Have You Read?
Fairyland by Paul J. McAuley
The Star Fraction by Ken MacLeod
Happy Policeman by Patricia Anthony
The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson
The Prestige by Christopher Priest
The Time Ships by Stephen Baxter

This time, I've read all of them.
The Stephenson and the Baxter.
Stephenson was good and I fail to recall the
Baxter in any detail.
'The Time Ships' was a "sequel" to H.G. Wells' 'The Time Machine'.
It folds in a couple of Wells's short stories as well - "The Plattner
Experiment" was one.
