Southern states particularly are repealing Child Labor laws, after all what
is there to do with all that learning after the 8th Grade?

Somebody has to work those poultry plant jobs. At least they are paid $16/hour and get to go home at night. Or the morning if they are working the graveyard shift, been there, done that driving home 35 miles east into the rising Sun at 730am.

Kids belong in school even if they do not think so. Someone was working at the poultry packing plants but ICE carried them away to
rot in San Salvador.Just a simple correction of word to work. And the addition of my ages to
I was working in my family's restaurant peeling potatoes and washing dishes, pots
and pans when I was 12 -18 but that was in the 1940s and 1950s. But that was in the summer and
after school if some of what I was good at needed doing.
