2025 Hugo Awards Homework - The Rest

I decided to skip the series award, since I have to read over 20 novels
just to be able to make an honest judgement.

I downloaded the Graphic story packet and looked at them:

Monsters, Vol 9: The Possessed - The artwork was extraordinary, even awe
inspiring (especially when you consider the production rate). However,
this was the ninth volume and I was completely lost on who was who and
what was going on.

My Favorite Thing is Monsters, Book 2 - Not certain on what this is; I
didn�t notice anything that resembled a plot arc.

Star Trek Lower Decks Warp Your Own Way - An interactive choose your
adventure story. Somewhat chaotic.

The Deep Dark - The packet contained an excerpt; i think it ends just
before a big reveal.

The Hunger and the Dusk, Vol 1 - The setting had a long standing
conflict between animal herders and famers. However, they face a new
challenge from invaders that are attacking both. Thus, an uneasy
alliance has been formed. BTW, the herders are orcs and the farmers are
human (as for the invaders, something else).

We Called Them Giants - Weird book which starts with 99+% of the human
population disappearing one night. The few remaining encounter tall (50+
feet) humanoid figures of uncertain motivations.

Best Related Work

I have downloaded and glanced at these. My first impression is that No
Award looks attractive.

I have no interest in most of the rest of the categories. I will
probably look at the art categories.
