 Kratman is insane. Literally. He thought up a Jewish Waffen SS Division in
one of the collaborations with Ringo. It was the first, and last, of his work
that I read. And the last Ringo.

It was an ok book about throwing anything against the Posleen invaders on Earth from the stars.
The previous books used nukes in the Cumberland Gap in the USA to try to stop the Posleen invaders.  That was some heavy duty stuff when you kill 30 million of your own citizens trying to kill the invaders.  Of course, the Posleen were EATING USA citizens so nuking them might have been a mercy.
Kratman also has a pretty good book about Texas seceding from the Union when Hilary Clinton (hawk, spit !) became president.
His series about the first interstellar colonists from Earth was ok at the beginning and then it started dragging about the fourth or sixth book.
I have over 40 of Ringo's books.  Maybe 50.  Ringo has three new books coming out this year, I have ordered the trade paperbacks already for next year.
