Hm...aside from your mention of Cordelia and Aral Vorkosigan, the only
others that come quickly to mind are the Weasleys from the Harry Potter
series, and the Carpenters from the Harry Dresden series.

I missed all Heinleins while I was a child/teen, and once I circled back
in my 20s-30s, I learned that I'm pretty much Heinlein-blind. These two
are not amongst the few I have read.
