I get a kick out of the way so many people think that tariffs will improve things for them. They seem to think the exporters are paying the tariffs. It's the consumers who end up paying them.
I shouldn't think that import tariffs will affect the price of butter, unless it's butter from Europe, which is already sold at a premium here.
