Y&R - I watched the last two episodes with Summer (Allison Lanier) - I
think that must have been the May 1 and May 2 episodes. This was a
incredibly shoddy write-out - it played liked they didn't even know
Lanier was leaving the show until the last second, which I don't believe
for a moment. But the way this played out, Summer is going to leave town
for a "work emergency"... and then just never come back, abandoning her
(adopted) son, and mom and brother in crisis?! If that's the way this
goes, they should probably just never bring the character back.

GH - Wed's ep. Joss the Spy finds out from Emma that she's on her own
mission to take down the Professor dude; Joss reiterates to her handler
and Brennan that she intends to beat Emma to the punch. After the
argument between Dante and Lois about Gio, NuNuLulu is now suspicious
and intends to investigate Gio as Dante's and Brook Lynn's possible son
(jackpot!!). I think it was this ep where Brad dropped the dime on
Portia to Drew about drugging Drew for a cash payout (it seems like they
are setting up to write Brad out for good), but Drew is going to want
Brad to do "one more thing" to help take down Portia first.

What did you watch?

I got to see a mix of COVERT AFFAIRS alums showing up on two different
shows. Piper Perabo has been playing the mom of a little girl who had
brain surgery and is now paralyzed on GREY'S ANATOMY. While
Christopher Goram (Auggie) showed up on DOCTOR ODYSSEY looking very
much like Billy Bob Thornton. Kept thinking to myself who is the low
budget BBT until we got a clear shot of his face and I knew it was an
older Auggie.

GREY'S ANATOMY is all about the typical medical stuff along with Jo's
wedding with the requisite family drama. While DOCTOR ODYSSEY was
built around a massive earthquake and subsequent tidal wave that ended
up with numerous people hurt on the ship and off. With the episode
ending with the cliffhanger of another earthquake with Pacey ending up
buried beneath some rubble.

I also got in the latest episode of TOP CHEF where they had a Mission
Impossible themed task where they had to make a dish that had some
sort of stunt involved. Not many really pulled off the stunt aspect
but then they had relatively little time to conceptualize and pull off
a successful dish for the judges. In the end it was as usual the
little mistakes that happen during the cooking that ended causing
another chef to get eliminated.
