The prime offered me this as the “original version“.
I can’t find anywhere what other version there would be.
This is the thing with the rat bat spider that I’ve seen clips from 1000
times but never actually sat down and watched.

I've either never seen this, or I saw in "Svenghoolie" as a kid, and don't remember it...
Unless it ends with them discovering they are androids (and, there's, like, a creepy "surgery" scene!) - if so, I remember it vividly, and have been trying to track it down ever since!!
