Abby died more than a decade ago. Are they running old columns or is
somebody ghost riding for her? If it's the former do they do follow ups?
Ghost riding? Is that a sex thing? Idiot.
sure. Just ask Dan Akroyd and Kym Herrin....
Pauline Phillips wrote the column from its founding in 1956 till 1987.
Her daughter Jeanne began writing the column with her in 1987.
My recollection is that, yes, the column was being ghostwritten by the
daughter, and it wasn't revealed publicly for years. Pauline had little
to nothing to do with the column after 2000 or so due to Alzheimer's.
She died in 2013.
Jeanne is over 80 now.
