Not long later, there were rumours circulating that he was a fake and that his signature glasses actually hid a secret earpiece where a confederate could whisper things into his ears that let him seem amazing.
Apparently, his real name was George Kresge Jr and he has died at age 89.
I thought I'd mention that since no one else had.
