Yesterday was my last half-day workday of the year (and possibly the last day I ever work my second job - we'll see...), but all I got through were soaps and a Lifetime movie:
soaps: Y&R - I think these were Tue's and Wed's ep's. Y&R seems to perennially come up with good front-end of stories, but terrible back- ends. This is happening with the Sharon storyline as Sharon (and Faith) are becoming insufferable, now believing that Sharon is "innocent" (no matter what, she still disposed of a body and framed Daniel for murder - she is still an awful person who should be in jail), even of trying to kill Filis[sic!] (she actually is innocent of this one), and the show is acting like we should be "rooting" for them. Sharon also decides to get hypnotized to try to get back the "lost time" she's had. Ian Ward and Jordan continue to bicker, and I'm waiting for one of them to try to kill the other. Billy is mad at Jack for the deception concerning Diane (and Kyle). Victor plots revenge against Jack after Jack rescued Glaucade.
DOOL - Also Tue's and Wed's ep's(?). Clyde holds JJ and NuGabi at gunpoint, threatening and intending to kill them. Chad and Cat come across Cat's mom, who has apparently been brainwashed by Clyde, but they overpower her, and then Cat gets through to the mom. While this happens, Chad shows up to knock Clyde out - when Clyde comes to, Chad is about to get Abby's (body's?) fate out of him when Cat's mom shows up and apparently shoots Clyde dead!!... The rest of this wasn't very interesting - more Leo and Javi stuff (I don't care! - though I suspect Javi's new boy toy is the real Lady Whistleblower imposter...), and also Brady and Ava flirting (is this going anywhere?!...).
Be Careful What You Say (LMN) - Surprisingly, this wasn't a Hybrid flick like I was expecting (instead it was a Barbie Castro production), and it was actually well-made. That wasn't the problem.
The problem was the flick sported almost *no* likeable characters!
The only character who came close was the producer boyfriend played by Jason Tobias - once again, Tobias is playing the overly-supportive boyfriend schlub who is heinously framed by the film's villainess (Tobias plays the same role in "Revenge for My Mother", and at least one other flick I can't think of right now...), and is abandoned by the film's so-called "heroine" as a result.
But everyone else here is unlikeable - the overly-ambitious unsupportive "advice" podcaster (Skye Coyne), the revenge-obsessed villainess (Nicole Dionne) whose son was a psychopath who deserved to die, and the podcaster's know(no?)-it-all unsupportive college-aged sister (Taylor Castro).
Gist: Unlicensed podcast "advice columnist(?)" gives a harried mom some "tough love" advice, which results in the death of said son. A year later, the mom initiates a devious and detailed plan to destroy the podcaster's life and career, before murdering her and burying her in the backyard "for all eternity".
The problem? This time, I wasn't rooting for either of them. In fact, I was kind of rooting for both of them to die.
The ending on this one was a real howler, as everyone ends up with an undeserved ending.
  What did you watch?

I watched:
Creature Commandos (HBOMax) - "Cheers to the Tin Man" - Episode 3 of the very "R" rated DC universe animated series.  Picking up where it left off the Suicide Squad, I mean Creature Commandos, continue to try and protect Princess Ilana from Circe.  The episode also has lots of flashbacks to give G.I. Robot's back story.  This was a great episode and had the Line of the night, "Oh boy, Nazis."  Watching what G.I. Robot did next was just the best.
Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+) - "Fissure Quest" - The promos for this season featured a scene with multiple Harry Kims from across the multiverse.  I have been waiting for that episode, and finally this was it. This episode shifted focus from the regular crew to Boimler's transporter accident created duplicate.  This Boimler works for a top secret Starfleet organization (I'm guessing section 31) and has been sent on a mission to stop a ship that is traveling the multiverse punching holes in different universes and destabilizing them as a result.  This was a pretty good episode and had a lot of cameos, cameos I won't spoil, but were *very* surprising.
Silo (AppleTV+) - "Descent" - The show continues to split the focus between Juliette in Silo 17 working on a way home and Silo 18 where there is a ton of fallout from the spoilery events from last episode.  A war is definitely coming, but my question is does Juliette show up just in time to stop it, or light the match to start it.
Kraven the Hunter (theatrical) Sony's latest entry in their Spider-Manless Spiderverse.  This one stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson as "Kraven," a kick-ass hunter who hunts criminals, yet for some reason has a fear of spiders.  This movie shoe-horns in so many Spider-man villains, you'd think they were making a sinister 6 movie.  They might as well have just bit the bullet and had Kraven fight the sinister 6. Don't get me wrong, none of the other already established Sony Spider-man villains make an appearance in this flick.  But is "Kraven" a good movie?  Well, it's better than "Madame Web."  But is *Kraven* a good movie?  I'd say it's better than "Morbius."  So it's got that going for it too.  Taking a page out of "Madame Web" you can't help but think this movie has been redited and overdubbed while watching.  And what you do get is a disconnected series of scenes featuring Kraven running, jumping, or hitting something, with some blood splatter added in to ensure an "R" rating.  At over two hours, they could have easily trimmed out 15 minutes by cutting the unnecessary childhood backstory of how Kraven got his powers.  And now that I think about it, this movie might have actually worked had it been Kraven going after established Sonyverse villains.  Throw him up against Vulture, Morbius, and Venom, and see what happens.
