Exam writing and grading yesterday (though things for the year are definitely starting to wind down!), so all I watched was football - which was disappointing almost all around!:
football - In the morning game, the Chiefs beat the Browns - this was not a surprise. But Mahomes got injured on a play which may make a difference.
    In the other morning game, the Lions inexplicably lost to the Bills!
    The afternoon game sported an absolutely pathetic second-half effort from the Chargers who were obliterated by Tampa Bay. After this game, I have no expectation that the Chargers will win their Wild Card playoff game. Hell, after this, they're lucky to even get into the playoffs!
    The evening game sported Green Bay beating up on the Seahawks, which I also didn't appreciate.
    The only good thing to happen yesterday was Phili beating the Steelers.
soaps: Y&R - Thur's ep. Mostly boring stuff - Nikki and Victoria act like out-of-touch richie riches by buying Claire a whole new "work wardrobe"; Victor warns Claire to stay away from Kyle as he intends to destroy the Abbott family (asshole!). Jack and Kyle talk. Lily decides to go back to work at Winters (coward!). Everyone continues to give Audra the cold shoulder.
    GH - Fri's ep. Jada offers Shawn-Douglas his old detective job back, and Shawn accepts, so I guess he's sticking around; Shawn signs Belle's divorce papers. Xander conspires to get Philip's lawyer to quit, so Philip goes to hire Belle. (Sidenote: I *hate* NuPhilip with Stephanie - please stop this, and put her back with Alex, stat!!) Booster Brady tells Belle he's dating Ava, and Belle is not pleased. (F*** her!) Ha! Insane Kristen slaps Ava, and Ava slaps her right back! So now Kristen is plotting to do something horrible to Ava - hopefully Ava does something horrible to Kristen first!
And that was it - otherwise I had X-Mas movies on in the background, but I didn't pay attention to even one of them!
