Every archangel has a Lucifer in him.
According to the Christian theology, that's literally not true.
Why not? Can there be only one?
Yes, Lucifer was unique.
Iirc, Lucifer started out as an archangel-in-good-standing ...i.e., like
all the others are now.
Right, but it turned out he was inherently different and the only one
to be
so.
Before he soured on things, there was no difference.
There was, just no one (other than god, one presumes) knew it.
We can't know what God knew or didn't know.
Sure we can. We're told several times throughout Christian mythology that god
is omniscient. That means he literally knows everything. Either god knew that
Lucifer was different and that he was going to rebel against him or god is not
omniscient.
This is why the Christian concept of 'free will' doesn't hold up to logical
scrutiny. An omniscient god will know every detail of my life before I've even
lived it. If god knows I'm going to marry a woman named Jennifer on May 10,
2032, then I have no choice in the matter. I *will* marry that woman whether I
want to or not. From my perspective it may appear like I'm making the choice
and that I have free will but I actually have no choice. My fate was sealed
before I was even born.
And 'presume' makes a 'priest' of 'u' and 'me'.
