The White Lotus (season 3 premiere) (9 pm, HBO)

 

HBO's hit resort mystery anthology series heads to Thailand for its
third season. Story details haven't been revealed, but this season's
cast includes one returning member (Natasha Rothwell) alongside
newcomers Walton Goggins, Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan,
Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Sam Nivola, Leslie Bibb, Patrick
Schwarzenegger, and Blackpink's Lisa (among others). Eight episodes
running through April 6.

I thought I was harsher. I still haven't finished Season 2.

Dexter: Original Sin(season 1 finale) (10 pm, Showtime)

All I've heard is that it's totally out of continuity with the original
series!

We will have a long discussion after it concludes. I won't say
"totally", but yes, it created several important discontinuities.
Overall I've been enjoying it.

The biggest difficulty I had with it is suspending disbelief that Queens
can stand in for Miami but the original series had moved production out
of Miami too; I guess that's consistent.

Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (season 12 premiere)

How tedious...  :|

I don't like his comedy nor political beliefs but the news magazine
reporting can be good at times. However, he pissed me off several
seasons back and I stopped watching.
