I've heard that the Secret Service has provided him a detail. I don't know how big it is but it would probably discourage most threats.
Then again, there must be a lot of people with motivation to act at this point....
I wish he'd find a lower-profile deputy to carry on the important work of DOGE and get his own butt back to SpaceX. I *really* want SpaceX to succeed and I think they probably need his help to get past their current problems.
