First I finished off the various "Making Of" and "Behind the Scenes" extras for season 1 of 'Fringe'
Then: Fringe S2E01 'A New Day in the Old Town'.  Which starts with Agent Dunham's death.  Oops.  But this is 'Fringe' so she gets better.
The glyphs in this episode spell "Tower".

There are a number of references to The X-Files (1993). One reference is during the Senate hearing, which itself occurred a number of times during the series run, the committee chairman refers to the defunct "X" division of the FBI.
