Of course that wasn't what he was doing at all as I'm sure you are
aware. The reason for the quick backtrack was to avoid people in the
media decrying his use of the word.

He has no need to create an unwanted controversy over an item that
isn't worth bringing up but our 24 news hour cycle will do so to help

You don't think it's deliberate to distract from the fact that Jose
Ibarra got paroled into the United States when Immigration and a second
encounter with Border Patrol failed to run his name to discover that
Homeland Security had already identified him as a gang member, not to be
allowed to enter?

No, because I don't believe that was on his mind at that moment.

I have no idea what you are talking about any more. The unwanted
controversy you and BTR1701 were talking was the quick backtrack, not
use of the term "illegal" in response to Marjorie Taylor Greene trying
to get Biden to say Laken Riley's name.

I'm saying, and I thought I made it quite clear, that a phony
controversy over anti-P.C. language was stirred up to distract from this
pointed failure of Biden's policy of paroling too many into the United
States, failing to perform even a minimal background check. Biden has
everyone talking about use of the word "illegal" so that the underlying
issue -- parole without a background check at either of two
opportunities -- gets ignored.
