Christianity moves the date of Easter about chiefly because the
gospels describe it in relation to the Jewish Passover. Minor
observances tend to be tied to the major festivals - Lent, Pentecost
and the like
Uh, what?
Good Friday was supposed to be the First Seder. Centuries ago,
Christians decided to break the link to Passover. Good Friday doesn't
necessarily fall within Passover, which is 8 days, and they forced
Easter to fall on Sunday.
Then they forced the change of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday
because of Easter, ignoring Genesis.
Who asked them?
